Consequences of The Occult

1. Spiritual Consequences – People can’t see or discern the true and living God. The heart grows cold to the things of God and can go as far as hating God (Acts 19:13-21). 2. Emotional (Soul) Consequences – The occult can affect people’s emotions in several ways.  It can negatively impact their mental capacities, temperaments, personalities, and behaviors, etc. (Mark 5:1-12) 3. Physical Consequences – The occult can cause all kinds of sicknesses and symptoms that cannot be diagnosed;  untimely physical deaths can result (Deuteronomy 28:15, 19-22). 4. Financial Consequences – The occult can cause poverty, as seen in cities and nations that are heavily involved in the occult such as New Orleans, Haiti, and parts of Africa.  Wherever there is heavy witchcraft, there will be great poverty (Deuteronomy 28:16-19). 5. Eternal Consequences – The occult can lead to hell if a person does not repent before dying (Revelation 21:8). 6. Family Consequences – The occult can cause family divisions, alienation, strife, confusion, divorce, and estrangement (Deuteronomy 28:15, 30-34). 7. Generational Consequences – The occult can cause generations to be affected by curses and consequences (Exodus 20:3-5). 8. National Consequences – As the nation embraces these practices, the land will become increasingly defiled or polluted (Leviticus 18:24-30).
