So You Think You're Cool, Eh? (Part III)

The horned hand or the Mano Cornuto is the hand sign for the followers of evil. It represents the devil and is the satanic salute, a sign of recognition between and allegiance of members of Satanism or other unholy groups.

It is meant to represent the horns of a goat or ram. The goat and ram head are graetly revered in Satanism and witchcraft ; a mockery of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God.

Medieval legends have it that the Devil created the goat. Satan himself often appeared with goat's horns,and sometimes changed his shape completely into a goat.

The "El Diablo" hand sign is often confused with the deaf hand signal of the phrase "I love you." While at first this appears an odd resemblance, I had an "Ahh, I get it" moment on discovering that the person who created the hand sign system for the deaf, Helen Keller,(right) was herself an occultist and was into Theosophy (founded by Satanist Blavatsky). Did Keller purposely design the deaf's "I love you" sign to be such a remarkable imitation of the classic sign of Satan? Was Keller basically saying "I love you, Devil?"

Harley Clarke is allegedly the guy who in 1955 began the University of Texas "hook 'em horns" hand sign. However, the sign itself has been around for millenia, long before Texas existed as a governmental entity let alone as a school. Where did it come from. We'd bet it was borrowed, perhaps deliberately from the Satanic movement to give a cover story excuse for those Satanists who are caught giving the signal. The U of T cover story is a "perfect" and an innocent excuse that will satisfy most ordinary folks whose curiosity might otherwise be aroused by more vigilant watchers.
